In Hinduism Prana-pratishta is the establishment of life-force (prana) into the murthi or sacred image, infusing it with the prana or life and energy of the respective deity.

At Shirdi Sai Society Trust, Prana-Pratishta event was done for 3 days on June 14th – 16th,2018. The 3 days of Ceremony involved 108 Kalasha Sthapana, Jalaadhivaasam, Dhanyadhivaasam and Pushpadhivaasam, Several Homams for each Murthi, Many Abhishekams, Veda Pravachans by 11 Priests. It was a huge Celebration with more than 3000 people witnessing the ceremony.

Images of a deity are just a symbolic representation of each god and they must be energized by Prana-Pratishta. The Prana-Pratishta at SSST was guided by Lord himself. All The 5 deities were schulptured in India by famous sculptures. A  special pooja was performed for 5 yantras that were placed under each murthi during Prana-Pratishta. 

With This Grandeur the Prana-Pratishta of Shirdi Sai Baba, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva, Lord Dattatreya was Performed on June 16th, 2018.
